Indianapolis Colts Courage House

Rachel Glick Courage Center is
the Indianapolis Colts designated
"Courage House"

Children's Bureau has a very unique and special relationship with the Indianapolis Colts, establishing our partnership in 2002 with the Rachel Glick Courage Center serving as the Colts Courage House.
Named after the NFL team in a respective city, a Courage House is a facility that provides support and quality care for abused children and their families in that community.
In 1989, the Ed Block Courage Award Foundation formulated the Courage House National Support Network for Kids. The Courage House is a partnership effort among the Foundation, the NFL, NFL Charities, the Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society (PFATS), the NFL Players Association (NFLPA), NFL Films, the Pro Football Hall of Fame and NFL Alumni. This partnership demonstrates compassion, and a commitment to helping abused children, at-risk children and families in crisis in NFL cities throughout the nation.
Upon joining the National Support Network, each Courage House is presented a Courage House plaque for display at their facility.
Since it is an existing facility, the Courage House's prevailing identity and standing are augmented, not eliminated, by forming this partnership with its respective NFL franchise and the Ed Block Courage Award Foundation. The Foundation's goal is to establish a Courage House in every NFL city.
