Introducing Cyerra, Age 15
Cyerra is 15 and enjoys anything to do with music! She enjoys singing, listening to music, and even
creating her own. Her favorite performer is Justin Beiber.
Cyerra has a great sense of humor and loves to laugh. She describes herself as a “girly-girl” because
she loves to shop and get her nails done. She also likes playing some sports though including basketball,
rollerblading, and swimming.
Cyerra would prefer a two parent family and would like to have a sister close to her age. She enjoys
helping out around the house and says she will even do dishes! She also likes to cook, especially breakfast
food. Cyerra needs a family that can give her a lot of time and attention as she has missed this in her life.

Introducing Jerry, Age 11
Jerry is a sensitive, affectionate little boy who enjoys playing with his bouncy ball, listening to music,
and swimming. He continues to increase his independence with using his walker and is becoming more comfortable
with playing outside.
Jerry currently does not engage in activities with peers but often initiates interaction with preferred adults
and staff members. Jerry needs a nurturing family that can provide one on one attention and meet his needs.

Introducing Shad, Age 15
Shad loves to play basketball and does not let his small stature get in the way of his game! He makes friends easily
and can be very helpful. Shad is working hard to learn the skills he needs to become more independent. Shad longs
for a permanent home where he can spend time playing sports and video games with family members.
He would prefer an African-American home and hopes to have older siblings. Shad needs a nurturing family that can
provide structure, consistency, and clear boundaries. He has two older sisters with whom he will need to maintain contact.

Introducing Jerry, Age 14
Jerry has a quick smile and dancing brown eyes. When asked what he would want people to know about him, he says,
"I'm handsome and friendly!" Jerry is all that and more! He likes to wrestle and play basketball and football. He
hopes to play on the school team when he's old enough.
Jerry likes to play on his skateboard, and watch movies and cartoons. He enjoys school and says his favorite subject
is Math. He has a good sense of humor and likes to play practical jokes on people every once in a while.
Jerry thinks he would like to be in an African-American family that has other children and maybe a dog. He hopes his
new family attends church as he enjoys going to church and participating in the youth group activities. Jerry needs
a loving permanent home that can provide structure and clear expectations. He needs a family that will help him feel
important and valued.

Introducing David, Age 16
David is an energetic youth who is a talented basketball player, enjoys playing football, and being outdoors. David
likes learning new things and his favorite subject is math. He hopes to become a professional basketball player.
David would prefer to be with an African American family or Caucasian family. He would like to have older siblings.
David needs a nurturing family that can provide structure and consistency while allowing him room to grieve his numerous losses.

Introducing Justin, Age 10 Justin is a fun, loving boy who enjoys playing with other children. Hi likes to swing and be outside. He enjoys playing video games and eating his favorite food; pizza. Justin will need a family to provide him with structure and one on one attention. He will do better with no other children in the home. |
