Retreat Residential Services |
|
The Rachel Glick Courage Center is home to
our Secure Residential Care program known as Retreat Residential Services. This program
reclaims a child into society after they have gone through an extremely difficult
time in their lives.

Retreat Residential Services is a locked secure residential program for 15 co-ed
youth ages 6 to 21. Youth who are accepted have a history of multiple unsuccessful placements
and require a locked treatment environment to stabilize their at-risk behaviors.

Services include specialized behavior modification, individual, group and family therapy,
psychiatric support and assessment, permanency planning, and comprehensive treatment plans.

This program is tailored for the youth who need a locked environment to address
runaway, drug use, aggression, self harm and other at-risk behaviors.
The program also offers an on-grounds school program to meet their educational needs.

Family involvement and preservation are strongly emphasized in the program. The goal is to
prepare residents to continue their personal progress in a less restrictive setting.
