Therapeutic Foster Care |

The Therapeutic Foster Care program is for infants and children through the
age of 18. All therapeutic foster parents receive 20 hours of additional
training and education beyond the
Foster, Adoption, Kinship Traning (FAKT)
pre-service training. Children with behavioral and emotional problems are
placed in homes with these specially-trained foster parents.
Master's level social workers work closely with the children and foster families
to provide support for foster parents and therapy for the children.
The goal of this program is to find a stable and permanent home for all
referred children.
