equipment to the Children's Bureau!
The Children's Bureau can accept donations of computers
(no printers, faxes or other electronics please) with
the following specifications.
Pentium 3 Processor or above.

processor type is usually marked on the outside,
front of the computer. |

Megahertz or above.

The
processor speed can be found by clicking Start/Control
Panel and clicking on the "System" icon.
The processor speed will be found under the "General"
folder tab at the bottom of the window. It will
be expressed as either Mhz (Megahertz or
million cycles per second) or Ghz (Gigahertz
or billion cycles per second). |

Gigabyte Hard Drive

The
hard drive capacity can be found by clicking Start,
My Computer then RIGHT clicking on your computer's
hard drive (Usually C:) then click properties.
The drive's capacity will be expressed as GB (Gigabytes). |
Monitors

Minimum
17", with a sharp and bright image. |
Major
Manufacturer (HP, Compaq, Dell, etc.)

Scavengers Project protects the environment

of landfills and puts them in the hands of those
