Teams are divided into four "Regions" within the Football Center competing
within that Regions bracket. The tournament is held in double-elimination
form, guaranteeing every team the opportunity to compete in at least
two rounds. The overall winners in each Bracket will compete in the
final four for the overall championship. Teams are both asked the
same question and after 10 seconds each team is asked to reveal their
answer. There are 20-30 questions asked in each round. If the score is
tied after the round of questioning, there will be a "sudden
death" playoff. The first team to answer incorrectly will lose
the round. The winning team moves on to the next level in their bracket
- the losing team goes into the "losers bracket". If the
losing team experiences another loss, they are eliminated from competition. |
