Our program organizes activities into four classifications that have varying requirements:

Direct Contact volunteers work hand-in-hand with our staff providing services to our clients. There are also several smaller events throughout the year where volunteers are called upon to lend a hand: appreciation picnics, recognition events, and advocacy training, to name a few.

Service Groups also enjoy supporting the agency through a variety of one-time service projects. Groups are from churches, schools, philanthropic organizations, scouts, or community outreach programs. We work with these groups to develop a project that fits their objectives and the needs of an agency program. A project might be a supply drive, a spring spruce-up in a facility (cleaning, moving mulch, trash pick-up), creating birthday cards, or organizing a party for a group home. These projects are an opportunity to let your group's imagination and talents really shine!

Requirements:

Group Leader Orientation
Confidentiality Agreement
Liability Release

We offer School Community Service/Service Learning with a commitment of 20 hours of service. Please plan for the orientation & screening process which can take up to 6 weeks.

We cannot offer volunteer opportunities for Court ordered community service or to individuals with a Felony or Class A misdemeanor.
