Children’s Bureau Celebrates Success with 19th Annual Celebrity Cook-Off

by Joy Coordinator

The stars came out for Children’s Bureau’s 19th annual Celebrity Cook-Off on Tuesday, October 4. The event raised $89,000 for children and families we serve.

Fifty celebrities fired up the hibachi grills to entertain guests at a NEW venue — Sapporo Japanese Steakhouse in Castleton. Before dinner, guests arrived to mingle in the pagoda featuring DJ Indiana Jones, two bars, an interactive photo booth, games of chance and select silent auction items. Some guests chose to relax and enjoy the ideal weather in the Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Outdoor Lounge.

We would like to extend our appreciation to our generous event sponsors – Anthem Blue Cross Blue ShieldIndiana Farm Bureau InsuranceIndianapolis Power & Light and Lumina Foundation.
