Butler Bulldogs Give Back

by Joy Coordinator

A group of 23 Butler University students and alums came to the Children’s Bureau Family Support Center Saturday August 29 to play with children staying in the shelter and complete much-needed projects as part of the school’s annual Bulldogs Into the Streets (B.I.T.S.) volunteering initiative.

Over 1,200 new and returning students, faculty, staff, alumni, and members of the Butler family headed out to about 25 service sites in the city. Their combined 2,400 hours of service are estimated to be worth over $50,000.
