Closely studying the success of our programs to ensure we’re making a lasting impact on the communities we serve

Measuring our success through data

Each year, Firefly Children and Family Alliance serves tens of thousands of families and children. The agency has a robust, continuous quality improvement process to collect and analyze client feedback and program outcomes. Quality improvement is paramount to the success of all programs and services. We track and analyze data on multiple levels to identify patterns and trends and measure it against internal and external benchmarks. Tools used to collect data internally include incident reports, record reviews, satisfaction surveys and programmatic outcomes. We collect external data via satisfaction surveys and external auditing agencies. All data gathered is shared consistently in program, middle management and executive level quarterly meetings; board of directors’ meetings; and with the community via the website and communication pieces. Firefly Children and Family Alliance maintains accreditation from the Council on Accreditation (COA) to ensure the fidelity of its programs.
