Carve out a better future.
Advocate for your child’s early education.
Children’s Bureau administers CCDF, a federal program that assists low-income families in obtaining child care so that they can work or attend school. This program is available in 38 Central Indiana counties. Visit the Child Care & Development Fund page to find out if you qualify.
Don’t be ashamed to ask for help.
Each year Children’s Bureau works with thousands of Indiana families that just need some help to overcome stressful life circumstances. Whether your goal is to find stable housing for your family, counseling or a better job to keep moving forward, a liaison from our Community Partners program can help.
Know your options.
Hundreds of young adults age out of foster care in Indiana each year. These youth lack the safety net and supports usually provided by family. Children’s Bureau’s Older Youth Services case managers help them build skills and self-reliance as they transition to independent living. In order to participate, they must either work full-time or attend school with part-time employment.
