Event Details: November is National Adoption Month! Our events this month will celebrate families who have adopted, families who are in the process of adopting, or individuals/families who are interested in learning more about adoption. An Adoption Champion will be available to provide more information (unless otherwise noted).

This is the fifth year for adoption day in Tippecanoe County. This year Thursday, November 16th has been designated ‘Adoption Day’ and the Indiana Adoption Program, Tippecanoe County Department of Child Services (DCS), the Tippecanoe Circuit Court, and the Tippecanoe County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) office are collaborating to celebrate the adoption of several foster children. Tippecanoe County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Busch will preside over an estimated 10-15 foster care adoptions slated to be finalized on November 16th. Adoption ceremonies will begin at 9:00AM on the third floor of the Tippecanoe County Courthouse.
